Lay out of lighting and set.
The set was designed to make it look as though the person living there doesn't care about the place. I achieved this by placing 'dirty' plates etc around the table and leaving things, such as blankets, on the sofa. it was difficult to create a fully believable set with out destroying the furniture in the room or spending too much money buying props to use.
I had to change my ideas for shots I will use, after I had to change my initial idea. because of it being dark outside during the only time I would be able to film the inside scenes, and then it being light outside during the only time I would be able to film my outside shots. This meant that I wouldn't be able to include the scene of the protagonist looking outside or of the antagonist banging on the door
Actors
The actors I will be using are my Brother, and his friend, both of which are in armature dramatic groups. I chose them because of their experience in acting and also my brothers experience in film as he has been in multiple YouTube sketches.
Adam, who plays the protagonist, has the disheveled look, beard and over grown hair, that I was aiming for for my character. The costume we will use will be an oldish jacket and plain black tracksuit bottoms as this will give off the impression of someone who doesn't care about their appearance and can't afford new clothes.
